Our mission at Haven Counseling Services is to provide an environment of support, compassion and understanding to help each of our clients attain the growth and changes they want to achieve.

Who We Are

At Haven, we take pride in having a team of clinicians that are compassionate, supportive, and able to attune to the specific needs of our clients. Our clinicians come from diverse backgrounds and experiences which have played a major part in enhancing each of their professional development and growth.

It can be difficult to recognize how current stressors, experiences, and trauma can affect our daily life. Our clinicians can help you reconnect with yourself, navigate current and past experiences that you wish to process and explore more deeply, and find a meaningful and connected life. We utilize both traditional, evidence-based interventions and therapy styles, as well as leading edge therapeutic techniques, so that clients can build and expand on: self-awareness, healthy coping strategies and tools, process traumatic experiences, core issues and lifelong patterns and work towards an enhanced state of “Self.”

What Sets Us Apart

At Haven, we understand how difficult taking that first step to reach out can be. Making the decision to start therapy, as well as the counseling process, can be difficult and, at times, nerve-racking.

Haven clinicians understand that human beings are complex and a one size fits all treatment plan does not work. Haven therapists will work with you to identify individual therapy goals. We understand the importance of building a connection with our clients to provide a safe space to process vulnerable emotions. Our clinicians prioritize continued education and personal self-growth to be able to also lead through example.

Haven Counseling Services offers appointments at two separate offices in both Davis and Vacaville, California.

Additionally, many of our Clinicians are able to offer online telehealth appointments.
